Riccia fluitans - live aquascaping plant in DAISY HILL, Queensland for sale
Riccia fluitans is a very vibrant colored and pretty looking floating plant, which is very popular used in aquascaping. It can be turned into instant carpets by tying it to a stone with a piece of thread or fishing line. New shoots always grow towards the surface and create a lawn look, which can be easily pruned with scissors. Riccia fluitans doesn't need any special conditions but thrives best with more light and added CO2. In good growing conditions small oxygen bubbles form on the leaf .
The Riccia I am selling has been grown in a tank with medium light, no CO2 injections, only occasional fertilisation other plants and mosses and snail present. The third photo shows a 5gram amount.
